Great Human Race Walkers

Community Walk
The walk is FREE to non-competitive walkers.  Most walkers participate with a nonprofit agency of their choice.  However, everyone is welcome to come out and participate in the Great Human Race.  Please see our list of Participating Agencies to find out if your agency is registered.  If so, contact them directly for information about joining their team.  If an agency you wish to support is not on the list contact Tammy Dorfman at tammy@thevolunteercenter.org to find out how to get them involved.

Competitive Walk
If you would like to have your walk timed and results recorded, please register online at active.com.  You will receive a number, chip timing device, runner/walker packet and a Great Human Race t-shirt.  Cost for registering is $25 before March 24 and $30 after March 24.  We ask that you start at the back of the runners.  Please visit GHR Runner page for more information on the competitive 5k.

Fundraise for your favorite nonprofit
Raising money for your favorite nonprofit is a very important part of the Great Human Race.  The money you raise goes directly to the nonprofit you are supporting.  Walkers who raise a minimum of $50 will receive a Great Human Race t-shirt.  Visit our Fundraising Page for more information on how to get started.
